Redemption of Vodabucks earned on Post Paid Contracts

•    Contract Terms and Conditions apply which can be located at www.vodacom.co.za
•    The deals are valid from the 7th of November to the 6th of December 2024
•    The offering is currently only available to contracts taken through the Vodacom Online channel and only where there is a Vodabucks allocation on the deal description.
•    Customers taking up a post-paid deal which includes Vodabucks are required to opt-in to the Loyalty Programme using the mobile number linked to the contract price plan.

•    To opt-in, customers are required to:

o    Download the VodaPay app from Google Play Store or the Apple App store.

o    VodaPay is currently not available on Huawei App Gallery and will be available soon.

o    VodaPay is compatible with most smartphones - Android version 4.4 and above, as well as Apple version 9.0 and above.

o    Once downloaded, enter the mobile number that is linked to the postpaid contract taken out, and verify it with the OTP that will be sent to that number.

o    Add your name and surname as per your identity document.

o    Add your email address to your profile.

o    Create a 5-digit login PIN.

o    Accept the T&C's.

o    Connect your biometrics (facial/fingerprint security) if you wish, and you’re ready to use the VodaPay app.

o    Select the Vodabucks menu and follow the opt-in prompts.

o    Vodabucks will be allocated once-off within 7 working days of contract activation.

o    Vodabucks received on a post-paid contract will be auto-banked therefore the customer does not need to bank their Vodabucks.

o    Vodabucks earned on taking out the postpaid contract will be valid for 90 days from date of allocation.

•    Your banked Vodabucks are stored in your Vodacom wallet, ready for you to spend.

Will I get reminders to bank my Vodabucks before they expire?

•    Don’t worry, we’ll remind you every Wednesday and Friday morning to bank your bucks so you never miss out on your well-deserved rewards.

•    Keep an eye out on your phone, on the Vodabucks homepage, as we’ll send you push notifications and / or SMS reminders.

 


How often can I bank my Vodabucks?

•    You can bank your bucks as often as you like during the week, but make sure you’ve banked what you’ve earned in the Saturday to Friday cycle before the Friday midnight cut-off.

•    After this, any unbanked Bucks expired.

My child / partner uses another mobile number which is under my name, will the other mobile number qualify for the benefit?

•    Benefits are allocated per the mobile number and the contract price plan which the number belongs to.

•    Benefits can only be accessed and redeemed by the persons above the age of 18 years.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Vodacom World Code Runner Game.

By participating in the Game, you agree to these Terms. Please refrain from participating if you do not agree with the terms. 

  1. Eligibility
    1. The Game is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
    2. Anyone can participate in the game. Only customers who have taken out a new line, an upgrade, or spent R499 or more at the Vodacom World mall, are eligible to claim prizes based on their points.
    3. Repeated participation disqualifies the participant to claim prizes. Your number will be used
      only once to claim the prize.
    4. Customer receipt must be produced in order to claim a prize after completing the Game. Only 1 prize per receipt will be awarded provided the participant fulfilled the qualifying criteria. 
  1. Registration
    1. Participants must register for the Game through the designated registration platform by scanning the QR code and follow the prompts.
    2. Each participant must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
    3. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false
      information.
  1. Game Mechanics 
    1. The Game will consist of a series of challenges and tasks that participants must complete.
    2. Participants will earn points based on the completion of tasks, with specific scoring rules outlined in the Game guide. 
    3. Participants are expected to adhere to all guidelines and rules as provided by the Organizer throughout the Game.
  1. Code of Conduct
    1. Participants must engage respectfully and fairly with other participants and the Organizer.

  1. Intellectual Property
    1.  All content and materials associated with the Game, including but not limited to logos, graphics, and game content, are the property of the Organizer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
    2. Participants may not use any content from the Game for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Organizer.
  1. Liability
    1. Participants assume all risks associated with their participation in the Game.
    2. Vodacom World and it’s supporting partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Game, including but not limited to any injuries or losses incurred. 
  1. Privacy
    1. Vodacom World will collect, and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
    2. By participating in the Game, you consent to the collection and use of your personal
      information for the purposes of the Game and future communications.
  1. Amendments 
    1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes via the official Game platform.

Terms and Conditions

Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom NXT LVL Vodacom Music Competition (the “Competition”) where the first (1st) thousand (1000) qualifying Vodacom NXT LVL customers to purchase the Vodacom Music bundle will each receive a R50 KFC voucher.  The new Vodacom Music bundle consists of 1.5GB data + Free Access to Vodacom Music valid for 1 day at R24.

All participants in the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

  1. The Campaign is open to all persons from 18 to 24 who are Vodacom NXT LVL customers, residing in South Africa, and who purchases the Vodacom Music bundle from 06h00 on the 7th March 2025 until 23:59 on the 31st of March 2025 (“the Campaign Period”). The Vodacom Music bundle consists of 1.5GB data + Free Access to Vodacom Music valid for 1 day at R24.

Prizes

  1. The First (1st) thousand (1000) Vodacom NXT LVL customers, who purchase the Vodacom Music bundle, will receive a Fifty-Rand (R50) KFC wiCode voucher valid for 12 months.
  2. Customers can redeem the wiCode online or in-store.
  3. The total prize value of the prizes in the Competition is Fifty Thousand Rand (R50 000).

Valid Entry

  1. To be eligible to stand a chance of receiving a KFC voucher prize, qualifying entrants must –
  • Be registered Vodacom NXT LVL customers, or register to Vodacom NXT LVL, during the term of the Competition;
  • Buy a Vodacom Music Bundle (which is 1.5GB data + Free Access to Vodacom Music valid for 1 day at R24), during the term of the Competition; and
  • If the qualifying customer is one (1) of the first (1st) thousand (1000) customers to purchase the Vodacom Music Bundle, such customer will automatically receive the KFC wiCode voucher via SMS within 72 hours of purchase.
  1. Participants are allowed to only win once during the Competition period.

Eligibility

  1. Only entries received during the Competition period as stipulated in clause 1 above will qualify as potential winners.
  2. The Competition is only open to natural persons at least 18 years and older who reside in South Africa and who are registered on the NXT LVL platform. Entries received from business accounts held by legal persons (amongst other Corporates and SMEs, etc.) are excluded from participating and winning in the Competition.
  3. Only entrants who are using SIM cards that have been RICA registered are eligible to win in the Competition. Each owner of a SIM card(s) is responsible to comply with South African law by RICA registering their SIM cards.
  4. Participants must reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the End Date.
  5. In the event that the user of the mobile phone (i.e., the participant in the Competition) is not the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges, then the prize will be awarded to the person that is responsible for payment of the participating mobile phone account/ charges.

Prize draw

  1. The first (1st) thousand (1000) Vodacom NXT LVL customers that purchase the qualifying Vodacom Music bundle will automatically receive a Fifty-Rand (R50) KFC wiCode voucher valid for 12 months.
  2. The vouchers will be allocated within 72 hours of purchase.
  3. All the information provided or related to this campaign shall be managed, captured, and approved by Vodacom.
  4. Vodacom will notify the respective winners via SMS; winners agree to such disclosure as is necessary to effect prize fulfilment.
  5. Vodacom will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners on the contact details provided by the participants to participate in the Competition.
  6. The winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 08h00 and 17h00.
  7. Verified winners will receive their receive a Fifty-Rand (R50) KFC wiCode voucher, valid for 12 months, via SMS.
  8. Should a participant not be available on the contact details provided or rejects, forfeits or declines acceptance of the prize, that person's right to the prize will be deemed to have been waived and the prize will be forfeited. Vodacom reserves the right to then award the prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
  9. Notwithstanding the fact that the prize vests in the winners immediately upon the determination of the results, in the event that the required documentation from a particular winner has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winner, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by Vodacom, such prize will be forfeited. Vodacom then reserves the right to award the prize to the finalist that is next in line.

Prize Details

  1. The winners will receive their KFC wiCode vouchers via SMS within 72 hours of purchase from Vodacom.
  2. Vouchers are not transferrable, should a winner not be able to accept the prize/attend the event for any reason whatsoever, the tickets will be awarded to the next selected entrant.

Personal information

  1. User data collected via the Competition will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Competition.
  2. User data collected via entry for this Competition will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy
  3. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
  4. The judges’ decision on any aspect of the Competition including the allocation of the prizes will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the Competition and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Vodacom may refuse to award the KFC wiCode vouchers if entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected.
  7. Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Competition, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Competition, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Competition or from claiming the prize.
  8. Vodacom is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or prize redemption process of the Competition. In addition, neither Vodacom nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating in and/or the prize redemption process of the Competition.
  9. Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any prize nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
  10. If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Competition or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Competition being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
  11. All information relating to the Competition which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

To place an order for Vodacom Fibre service, you must first confirm the availability of fibre in your area using one of the following methods:

What is the installation process? What is the installation process?
  • Once you've completed your application, your order is processed and added to the network build plan.
  • The fibre network is then rolled out in your area according to the build schedule.
  • The installation partner will contact you for an appointment to survey your home and plan the installation.
  • Once the installation plan is agreed upon, a separate appointment will be made with you for the installation partner to install the Vodacom Fibre service and required equipment at your home.
Can I take my Vodacom Fibre Broadband service with me if I relocate? Can I take my Vodacom Fibre Broadband service with me if I relocate?

Service relocations will be allowed subject to the availability of fibre infrastructure at the location you're moving to.

If our Vodacom team can provide Internet services at your new location, you'll be offered a service similar to the service you had at your previous location. However, you will incur additional costs relating to the provisioning of the service at the new location.

Please note: If the relocation is to an area without a fibre network, then your current contract may be cancelled without any penalty and you'll remain liable for the cost of the Customer Premises Equipment (WiFi-enabled router).
